APPEARANCE:
As a fox, Bane stands at around 12 inches at the shoulder, and weights around 7 pounds. The fur along his spine is rather ruffled, and ruggish while the rest of it just sticks up in some places, but has an over-all soft feel. His ears are well rounded, they are good at hearing tiny noises, and he has a sensitive nose. The over-all color of the ur is a russet red, with darker paws, arms, and tail- all save for the signature white tail-tip. The slanted eyes contain large brown pupils for better seeing, especially in the dark.

THE HUMAN HALF
APPEARANCE:
Bane is a very tall man, standing around 6'2". He has a well-built body made more for quick, swift movements than sheer force. His hair is a light brown color, that gets darker in water. His hair is slightly curly, and is sported short. His eyes are a striking blue/green color, and often reflex a green or a blue with what he's wearing. If it's something green, than his eyes are a more prominent green color, same goes for blue. He normally sports a light beard and side-burns.

PERSONALITY: Bane is known mostly for his playful nature, and his knack for getting under people's skins. He is also known for having a mischeivious mind, and a witty attitude. His sense of humor can be rather cocky and dark, and he just loves showing off. His signature grin can bring women to their knees (at least, most of them) and make men scowl- for they know this man is one they'll have to watch out for.
Bane might be playful and rambunctious at times- but he has a trait that makes him perfect for the rank he has. He's watchful, and keen on observing. He's naturally curious, and has a tenancy to pay attention to fine details. He likes his job, and does it quite well. His animal half also helps in this tremendously- and quite frankly, it reflects his over-all character accurately. He's quite sly like a fox, and yes- he has a need to steal things, and is very selfish in that way. He rarely feels sympathy for others, and does what he pleases- he can also be quite hot-headed and disregards rules. He's also got a cleverness that pushes him to do dangerous tasks, and quite possibly get him into trouble. Bane hates being restricted, and is very stubborn; he has an obtuse nature as well that makes him somewhat annoying to be around. If he has friends, he'll be sure to stick with them to the end- because he's very loyal. He has a deep anger toward the other kingdoms about starting the war. His views about the war are quite negative you know.

BACKGROUND
HISTORY:
Bane was a mere 19 year old when the war was going on. His family consisted of his mom, dad, and two younger step-brothers. They didn't live among the kingdoms- just in a small area on the outskirts of Tyrgere. They were eventually forced out into the seas, and washed up on the shore of Ombra 2 years ago- when the war started. His father was a petty thief, but had a good heart in that he wanted to protect his family. However, his mother was killed in the war- so were his two younger brothers. Bane grew up with his father in Ombra, and learned the ways of the new land, and held his father's save distaste for not only the other kingdoms, but the war. They weren't anti-war- they just thought the reason for the fighting was unnecessary.

Bane soon became ranked a scout due to his expert tracking abilities- and his sneaky way of going about. He has been over the seas to the other lands a few times to act as a spy. He normally travels in his animal form- because it's not as obvious as his stranger form as a human.
Bane's ability to separate himself from his body is a useful gift. He first discovered it in his early teen-hood- where he fell asleep one night, and awoke to find himself standing right beside his body. He roamed around in this state, unnoticed and all- because all you could really see (if you looked hard enough) was a swirl of faint lights- those are his aurora lights. Bane is able to access his 'astral' body when not asleep- he just needs to be in a fairly quiet place- and his body must stay unmoving for the most part- of the connection will be broken, and he'll just return to his normal body. In the state when he's not in his real body- what's left behind almost appears dead in a way- but he's not cold to the touch- but his pulse is so slow that it almost feels as if he doesn't have one.
Bane followed in his father's foot-steps with the whole thieving thing. He's not the highest payed member of Ombra- so he has to make due with what he can find, or steal, in his case.
