THE ANIMAL HALF
SPECIES: Eastern Timber Wolf.
APPEARANCE: She has a completely black coat with a blueish tint. Althea has a slender build, and average length legs. She is shorter in stature than the norm, and the fur around her face gives her a decidedly puppy-like look to her. Her eyes are an ice blue that grows lighter towards the center. She has a unique marking of white fur over her left eye that looks like a snowflake.

THE HUMAN HALF
APPEARANCE: Althea is very beautiful and proud-looking. Her skin is unnaturally white and pale, like snow. She has lush black hair and cold light ice blue eyes that become whiter with anger. Her body is slim, with a graceful look and graceful movement. She’s medium height, 5’6, and is light for her size. Thea has a more doll-like appearance, and looks frailer than she really is. Her skin is ice cold to the touch, and she has a light dusting of dark freckles across her cheekbones. Althea’s voice is like snow, and when she wishes, can be as cold as or colder than ice, and can slice right through the hardest of people.

Thea has a small tattoo of a butterfly on her left wrist. Her ears are pierced and are often adorned with tiny snowflakes and a bracelet with snowflake charms dangle and jingle on both wrists, both in tribute to her mother. From her neck hangs a black length of string-like material which is actually black ice and it holds three things, two small icicles on either side of an actual snowflake. Both never melt and are as cold as her skin, they’re a gift from her mother; she’s been wearing it since she can remember.

PERSONALITY: For lack of better words, she has a cold personality. Unless you know her really well, you will never see an emotion on her face, and the only thing there is a sweet sort of doll-like look, which remains there even in danger. The only way you might be able to tell at least one emotion is through her eyes. Yes, they remain expressionless too, but when she is angry they become lighter, thus showing emotion. Whenever she speaks she generally has a lilt to her words, an accent, although she doesn't tell anyone from where. Her voice is 'like snow, soft, and very cold'. Thea's insulted when she's called "hot" because her element is ice and she doesn't like being temperature hot.

BACKGROUND
HISTORY: Althea grew up as an only child, with no one to keep her company and parents who did were not around much, not by their own choice, but to keep what barely passed as a house and to put food on the table. She grew up on her own, schooling herself in the ways of surviving and making a living. In a way, she didn't mind, for when her parents where around and not working they always spent time with her, playing, teaching, making sure she knew they loved her. As soon as she was old enough she started working, and found her passion in Archery and close hand combat, namely, daggers. In her free time when she was not working odd jobs, she would practice until she was sore. Thea saved her money until she could pay to have her own bow, quiver, and dual daggers. Shortly afterwards, her father fell ill with a sickness that had gone around his place of work, and died a few weeks later. With the man of the house gone, Althea joined the ranks of warrior to keep her mother off the streets. Not that she minded. Being a warrior was something she had always dreamed of, and to have gotten to be a warrior was a dream come true, not to mention she was being useful to her mother as well.
