Robert Baratheon is dead. His son, Joffrey baratheon sits atop the Iron Throne and is Lord of all The Seven Kingdoms. But not all are satisfied with this. Some whisper in quiet corners that someone else should be on the throne. Some have reasons for wanting young Joffrey to sit atop the throne.
