Welcome to Shibusen. This academy was founded by the Shinigami, Death, himself. It stands as a defense against the dark forces of evil that plague the world in the form of witches, kishin, and others.
Set two decades after the end of the series, we find Soul and Maka married with two children. But family ties are strained with only a few knowing why... Black Star and Tsubaki are also married with one child. The ninja is currently a teacher at Shibusen while Tsubaki is a stay at home mom. Shinigami-sama's son, Death the Kid, is now the director of the school, with Liz and Patty by his side as his advisors. He is currently too occupied with his career to pursue the perfect girl. Professor Stein and his friend Spirit are also still teaching, with the latter trying his hardest to be a part of his child and grandchildren's lives. And Blair the cat is the new owner of Chupa Cabra's. She doesn't seem to have aged a day.
Meanwhile, the great witch Mabaa and members of Zodiac fight for the rights they believe they deserve. And there is reason to believe the snake witch is still alive...
