APPEARANCE: Othallim is an authoritative specimen in appearance, standing at 6? 4? and weighing roughly 200lbs of lean muscle. His flesh is a rich, deep tan color naturally, growing only slightly lighter or darker depending on the seasons due to how much time he spends outdoors. When one looks upon Othallim?s face, they would see gentle eyes of the deepest blue-gray behind shaggy, wavy black hair that spills downward to the edge of his broadly chiseled, clean-shaven jaw. Perhaps the most prominent feature of his wise face is the white tattoo in the likeness of the sun (reference HERE) that encircles his right eye, or the three golden hoops pierced into the left of his slightly pointed ears. Despite the ornate design that embroiders his eye, Othallim wears simple clothes suited for working in the woods. His most common outfit is one of a white button-up shirt with long, billowing sleeves, along with a black leather belt, black breeches, and a pair of well-worn black leather boots. The only item of clothing he will wear with colors out of the gray-scale spectrum are his hooded capes, ranging in the neutral colors from forest green to an earthly brown. The cape itself sweeps down nearly to his heels, and the hood of it is large enough to cover his eyes when drawn over his head. Bandage wraps are consistently covering his palms up to the joint of the elbow on each arm to cover the scars left by an incident with a fire he had years ago. Other than his bandages and earrings, Othallim politely refuses to wear any other sort of jewelry for simplicity's sake.

IN DEPTH COVERAGE
PERSONALITY: From the first moment of meeting Othallim, his kind demeanor is the easiest thing to notice. He simply exudes a warm aura about him that puts others at ease. His thin lips are constantly grazed with a genuine, peaceful smile, and although his physical appearance is very authoritative, it is not dominating or intimidating. He is indeed a powerful specimen, but his strong arms are used for embracing much more than they are for harming. Othallim is clearly someone driven more by the heart than by the mind, though his intelligence is one of his most prominent skills. He never fails to lend a helping hand where he is needed, or to offer a shoulder to lean on when someone needs comfort. There is never a moment where he isn?t putting others before himself. It is obvious there is not a single selfish bone in his body, but his giving nature is subdued and humble. His kindness comes from the heart, not in hopes of receiving kindness in return. He lives to see others smile, and nothing makes him happier than to simply know he has the ability to brighten a mourning individual?s day.

Aside from his loving nature, Othallim is extremely intelligent and wise beyond his years. Because he is shy and takes to solitude, he spends much of his time studying, observing, and evaluating the world around him. He is prone to long periods of thoughtful silence, even when in the presence of others, and there isn?t a moment that goes by that his mind isn?t in overdrive. He learns quickly, comprehends complicated pieces of knowledge with ease, and somehow finds a way to explain it to others in simplified terms. His intelligence is almost always reserved for internal satisfaction, however. He does not showboat his knowledge, and will never lecture someone about his findings. He is a private individual, both outwardly and inwardly, and refrains from sharing much of what swirls around in his thoughts. It is because of this that he is often thought of as paranoid, though this is not entirely true. He is simply reserved, and his distrustful nature keeps him from allowing his heart to fall into the palms of undeserving hands.

Another strong aspect of Othallim?s personality is his spirituality. He has always felt an intense connection with nature and the world around him, and he exudes it in everything he does. His eyes are often turned skyward, prays often whispering on his lips, so much so that he has been accused of a stargazing nature, with his mind always in the clouds. Othallim thrives on the abstract world just as much if not more than the physical world around him, and he is always working towards strengthening that bond between him and the untouchable worlds beyond. He is so dedicated to this goal that Othallim is almost entirely a nonsexual being. Physical touch in the form of a friendly embrace is a common endeavor for him, but he rarely, if ever, falls into the trap of carnal relations. To him, the act of touch is a most sacred gift, and he never abuses it. Perhaps one day he will find an individual to bring this side out of him, but he is entirely content to reserve such love for the spiritual world. Because of this, Othallim always seems reserved and cautious in his body language, always friendly but never inviting. He is always composed, regardless of the emotions inside of him.

This brings us to the great faults that plague him. Othallim?s love for others has become so intense than at times, when others are in danger, he has fallen into violent fits of rage. This level of protectiveness is extremely rare, but it has happened multiple times in his life. His empathy also drives him to bear the weight of others? problems on his own shoulders, which can drive him to periods of depression. Though he may seem static on the outside, always warm and welcoming, it is not uncommon for him to feel troubled internally due to high levels of sensitivity. He can be defensive, and tends to not take criticism very well. Despite these internal wars within him, these emotions are only ever seen with a flicker in his deep eyes, or a hunch of his shoulders, or a retreat back into solitude.

BACKGROUND
HISTORY: Othallim's past is a long and winding road, one with many chapters that may not be relevant to the turmoil happening in these lands. What is important now is that after the great war, after a countless number of deaths between the Ice and Water tribes of late, he and his beloved friend Aeryana gathered the rest of their people and fled to one corner of the Great Island, one that encompassed the border they both once shared. Due to the strain of power on his tired shoulders, Othallim stepped down from the leader position and vowed to be the Head Adviser to Aeryana and to serve her with his life for the rest of his days. The once great Water and Ice tribes now combined to create the magnificent Kingdom of Aver, Othallim's mind has rested easily in these two years of regaining strength. The scrutiny his people once speared him with has all but vanished with this unorthodox mixing of blood, and he has blossomed into the young man he should have been years ago; full of life and happiness and fervor.
