THE BASICS NAME: Vivian Natash ALIAS: Vivi AFFILIATION: Tyrgere RANK: New Generation GENDER: Female AGE: Nine years old SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
THE ANIMAL HALF SPECIES: Oncilla APPEARANCE: Vivian is on the smaller side, even for an Oncilla. At 9 inches long, and weighing 2.1 pounds, the small cat is liable to go unnoticed, allowing her to pass through usually tight places. Her thick, soft fur is light brown, patterned with many irregular dark brown rosettes, though they form together to make small stripes on her upper legs. There are bands of dark brown on her 3.7 inch tail, as well as a pair of dark stripes on her face, and dark spots on her lower legs.
THE HUMAN HALF APPEARANCE: Vivian is, to put it simply, an adorable child. Standing at 3’7.5”, she is also very small and petite, a fact which makes many think she is younger than she actually is. Her skin is on the paler side, as even though she spends much of her time outdoors, she tends to stick to the shadows. As such, she lacks sunlight, and is perfectly okay with that. Her hair is a light brown color which she tends to put into two braids, though she does wear the occasional ponytail. Vivan’s eyes are a bright green color, as well, which usually seem to be alight with something or other.
For her clothing, the child cares little. In fact, were it not for other people making sure she were dressed, Vivian would wear the same clothes day after day, and likely even sleep in them. As it is, she tends to wear blue or green dresses, most of them with a few patches or stitches from the rips and tears she has collected from her outside adventures.
IN DEPTH COVERAGE PERSONALITY: Vivian is very much a child. Ever curious and inquisitive, she is always ready to babble out a bunch of questions, sometimes not even pausing to take a breath. The girl is very outgoing, and while she doesn’t seek the company of others, if she sees something that she doesn’t understand or is curious about, she won’t hesitate in asking a complete stranger.
However, on the other hand, she is loathe to give out personal information, and makes few, if any, lasting relationships. Vivian doesn’t want any, either, preferring to be by her lonesome or with her imaginary friends. She finds more entertainment in running amok outdoors by herself than any form of playing with other people.
Having lost both of her parents at a young age, Vivian doesn’t like to attach herself to people, fearing that they, too, will die, or not understand, or give her meaningless, empty words, but when she finds those few people who she thinks can survive, understand, and give full words, not empty ones, Vivian is a hundred percent loyal. She will go to the ends of the earth for those she considers ‘hers’, however rare they may be. STRENGTHS:- Unnoticeable – When she wants to be, Vivian can disappear on the drop of a hat, due to her small size in both human and animal form, leading to her being quite the little sneak.
- Adorable – This may seem like an odd strength, but even the most hardened warrior would usually take a pause at harming a cute, little girl.
- Curious – Because Vivian is constantly asking questions, she has amassed quite the store of knowledge, and knows more than the average child her age.
- Secretive – Despite the fact that she is constantly gaining knowledge, when it comes to anything about herself, the girl will clam up, making it hard for anyone to get anything out of her.
- Quick – Probably due to a lifetime of playing tag with her shadow, and many other things like that, Vivian is quite the fast little runner.
WEAKNESSES:- Physically Weak – Being nine years old, Vivian definitely doesn’t have much in the strength department.
- Easily Trusting – Though she doesn’t tell many about herself, she is definitely unlikely to think anything wrong about someone.
- Ignorant – Though she may know quite a bit, she is also quite ignorant about how the world works, and the fighting and deaths that go into it.
- Lacks Common Sense – Vivian seems to lack instincts and common sense, ignoring things like ‘you definitely shouldn’t go into the dark part of the forest’ or ‘there’s a reason that one should have a teacher for an element’.
- Stamina – The girl lacks stamina, and can quickly tire herself out when doing anything too exerting.
FEARS: - Thunderstorms
- Meaningless Platitudes
DESIRES: - To know everything
- To Survive
WEAPONS: None. ELEMENT: Air
BACKGROUND HISTORY: Lisea Ildrid and Antony Natash never expected to fall in love. Nor have a home together, nor have a child together, nor leave that child one by one as they fell in battle, leaving their little girl alone in the world. Yet they did.
Lisea was the first to go, when Vivi was five. It was supposed to be a patrol, nothing too difficult, until the entire party was ambushed and slaughtered. The little girl was not allowed to see her mother’s body, instead witnessing the first time she had ever seen her father cry. It was after that that she began being more on her lonesome.
Before, she had had sort-of friends, people that she would have play dates with, have fun with, but nothing too special. After she lost her mother, though, Vivi spent more time with her head in books, puzzling out the big words and asking plenty of questions. After all, if she was going to survive in the world, she should know as much as she could, right? She still had fun, though, and played with kids her age, just far less than she had before.
Until, when Vivi was seven, her father died as well. It was almost the exact same situation, except he was alive enough to be brought back, yet dead enough to not survive. Vivi bawled when she saw her father’s beat up, mangled, yet still alive body, and when they lowered his coffin into the ground and dirt closed over it, hiding her last family member from view.
That was the last time she cried.
For almost six full months, the child tried to cut herself off from human contact completely, running amok and trying to run away, to leave her home behind. And every time she was caught and brought back to the empty house, to the caretakers that would never replace her mother and her father, no matter how hard they tried. Empty words, empty smiles, empty eyes, that was all she saw anymore.
The children didn’t understand, and those that did, those fellow children who knew what it was like to go home to just one parent, maybe less, were not those that she wanted to have fun with. So Vivi decided that it was time to grow up, and make adult friends. They would understand, yet not be bad about it, and hopefully not give her empty expressions.
But they did.
And that was when the cheerful child found refuge in the land of imaginary friends, refusing to come back to reality, except to answer questions. She still didn’t know everything, after all, and she wouldn’t be able to survive unless she did.
