Out of Character

• The usernames on this site are your OOC name.
  
• Please make a list of your characters [in any fashion you'd like] in your signature so others know what characters you play.
  
• Be courteous to one another, please. The administrators / moderators would like to interfere with your experience here the least amount possible.
  
• If you have any questions regarding anything at all, feel free to ask in the OOC Board or in the CBox.
  

Posting

• Posting should be at LEAST 150 words. This is an intermediate-advanced roleplay. That means no two sentence posts.
  
• Powerplay will not be tolerated unless done with the consent of the other member.
  
• If there are 10 posts in a thread already that you would like to join, please ask the members permission before you hop right in.
  
• Your characters do not HAVE to be limited to one thread at a time, but please keep all of the ones your in with that character in check.
  

Relevant to Characters and IC Activities

• All characters can shape-shift. Your character's animal may be anything you desire, but your character can only shift into that one specific species.
  
• Characters can by default control one element [fire, lightning, water, ice, earth, or air]. The elements you may choose from depends on what realm you choose to live in. So:
  
  - Caldo: Fire or Lightning
  - Aver: Water or Ice
  - Tyrgere: Earth or Air
  - Ombra: Ombra does not have a specific element attached to it, but its inhabitants have peculiar abilities in the paranormal arts.
  
  Aside from your character's element, they may also have a secondary power, which could be anything you may like.
  
• When the character transforms in or out of animal form, their clothing, material belongings and such become part of their animal form. However, the more a person has on them, the heaver the muscle weight on the animal is, which is why many prefer to leave their belongings elsewhere when transforming, or change without clothing. Individual character preference is up to you.
  
• While we are a fantasy site, your characters may not have wings, horns, scales, etc while in human form, or any special features in animal form that is unnatural to the species. The fantasy aspect is limited to the elements and magic powers, and does not venture further than that.
  
• For now, there is no limit on the number of characters you may have.
  

The Rank System

• Activity is a MUST when you're a leader of a realm. If you miss an activity check without previously mentioning you will be on a hiatus, the position will then be up for grabs.
  
• Your character may be any rank they wish upon joining, so long as that position is open. Check the listings to see what are available.
  
• Ranks can change at any time. If a plot moves your character from omega to a caretaker, for example, please send me a PM and I will update the rank listings page.
  
• A character cannot be two ranks.

Banned Powers

• These powers, for plot reasons or otherwise, are not allowed to be used. That means you cannot join a character with any of these powers, in other-words.
  
  - Control of darkness or shadows
  - The ability to bring someone back to life
