Taking his hand he stood up and staggered a bit, being off balance he leaned up agents the tree nearby before letting out a sigh. "heh, yeah that would be good" grinning slightly and letting out a small yawn and grunt "dam winter, it feels like it's coming early this year..." Shivering a bit from a cold breath of air. Being out in the cold seas didn't help him much either. Despite it only being fall there in Ombra, the great seas or oceans what ever one wanted to call them, where always cold, even colder now that winter was coming around.
Maze looked up at Sunil again "SO hows my sister been?, keeping our business still at work I hope?~~" His pride hoped that she has, slacking in keeping his family name feared is something he would not take lightly. Maze's pride was nearly everything to him, wanting to make the world fear his name, or even of his family is what kept him the cold brutal owl he was today, his last few jobs came back to mind, as he patched himself the best he could with what was near his reach. He chuckled under his breath thinking to himself that he has alot of work to do before he'll be able to go about his business here again.
His blades where lost, his clothing was ripped and worn to the point it was needing to be replaced, no matter he still have favors to use, he'll get himself back in order in a few days, hopefully without anyone noticing how weak he is, especially Talia. But first he'll rest, catch up with what Sunil knows about whats happened in the last year. "~~and what have I missed?"

Once Mazguard was back up on his feet, he took to talking about the weather. The chill in his bones was unmet by Sunil, who was standing there next to him with bare chest and holey pants, and a lack of shoes to top it all off. Early fall still felt like summer to the monarch, regardless of the chilly winds that invaded over the shores by way of the ocean, and he paid no mind to the slow change of the leaves around him. Sunil gave a halfhearted shrug.
It wasn’t until the man brought up his sister that Sunil found his attention again. To reply, he gave another shrug, but this time his silky voice followed. “Talia’s been doing her chores well. I couldn’t tell you what she’s doing over there in the Mainland, but she comes back with enough information each time.” He cocked his head and scratched underneath his chin. There was a good many things that still needed to be done around the island, but Ombra was coming together smoothly as a Kingdom. For an island full of misfits, criminals, and other miscellaneous beings, there was surprisingly little crime within the Island, and even less rebellion.
So, to answer Mazguard’s last question, Sunil grinned. “You haven’t missed much. The days have been dull here, but I think I’m planning on taking a visit to the Mainland…” his voice trailed off and his black eyes turned westward, where the shores of the greater island lie far in the distance. It had been far too long since he’s made himself known to them. He must be sure they didn’t forget.

Maze smiled and let out a sigh of relief, "I'll see her once she gets back, until then I need to get patched up" Standing up on his own weigh again getting his balance. "heh, should go see your old friend, what was her name...Rani or something like that." Stretching out with a load groan "uhhh meet back here in a few few days? I'm sure this is the meeting place for tali"
Nodding to Sunil before morphing back into his owl form he flew slowly to his hollow and rested for the rest of the day. At night he set out again, getting some new cloths and butting an order in for some new weapons. He carefully made sure no one knew he was back besides the shop owners. Maze was happy to be back, having been nearly killed by eagles and owls out of his home area deeply ashamed him. He would take it easy for a while until his wounds healed and do a survey of the land again.
Two days passed, the wind switched coming in from the north now, he knew talia would be back today with some old owl, he would keep in the shadows until he thought it would be a good time to jump out to his sister. Arriving back at the same small circle or rocks and trees he sat on a branch where Sunil slept the night before.

Sunil’s relaxed façade suddenly changed at the mention of Riani. Though, to Maze, his posture would have hardly seemed to change, but his black eyes grew sharp and his gaze became scrutinizing. Sunil had not been aware that others knew of his relationship with the fire warrior. He had not known anyone even knew that the two had come upon each other, excluding those that she had undoubtedly shared the information with. How Mazguard came upon the information was beyond him, but Sunil didn’t voice his tension. Perhaps he would have to re-examine just how much information he allowed to pass through word of mouth. If every little action the young monarch made became public, it would be hard to move into position stealthily.
With a brusque nod, Sunil was off as well. He’d spent much more time than he would have liked standing in one spot, and his muscles ached from lack of activity. The moment he entered the shadows, he shifted back into the muscular, black feline from before and bolted through the underbrush to no place in particular. He had no kingdom and order of hierarchy to lead as of yet, so he used the lingering freedom to wander the woods and clear his mind.
Just two days had passed. Two mundane days, with the usual everyday activities around the scattered homes and smaller fortress of Ombra. Sunil found himself lingering back in the common meeting place where Mazguard and Tali had both requested his return. He stopped there in the small clearing, a human once more, and waited with a scowl on his thin lips. Sunil was not one to enjoy meeting upon another individual’s request, and it wasn’t common of him to abide by their desires when requests were made. However, if Tali was coming back with an outsider, he would have to make sure he would be there.
Especially if the old bird already knew too much.

Jumping down into human form a much more stable (and dressed) Maze leaned back on the tree "morning Sunil" Looking into the north waiting for any glimpse of his sister, and this old coot whom is not of this land. Good info as long as he played Sunil's little game at the moment. He really didn't care, it may give him to opportunity to finish his and his family's goal of killing one of the 3 monarchs. "What do you think this owl can do for us honestly?, An old hoot like him would likely be worthless in a fight, even if he knows how to fly well." Shrugging off the tree he stood next to Sunil
After a time, the bleak spot appeared on the horizon, heavy strokes of Talia showed she was flying most of the morning, and was already tired. Maze quickly stepts back into the shadow of the tree and shifted back melding with what shadows where there before taila landed. Landing she took a few breaths "he....he's bloody insane!" Looking behind her she scanned to see where he was "wha....he was just behind me! How did he get out of ear shot?" Talia looked back at Sunil with a look of regret of bringing Fable here. "He's much more than I thought much much more...." shaking her head "I'm not sure if it was a mistake or not now...."
Circling above with sun directly at his back he was nearly invisible thanks to the glare of the sun bouncing off his armor. Fable worried about bringing his battle gear would be a mistake, no one on these islands would have ever seen anything like it before and might be taken as a threat, but he didn't want to go someplace unknown without it. Spending a few moments circling and observing his guide and this leader of her's. Before descending quietly behind them going landing on a tall rock. From head to talon he was armored, defender claws, body armor, and his helm, made of steel and what looked like a brassy gold, with blue details. The colors of Everia and his home.
Landing rather loudly with his claws scratching and sparking against the rock he quickly looked at the two and moving out of a defense stand he stood upright and studied the reaction of his landing. He was only half the size of talia, claded in armor however probably made him look twice as big as he really was. He let out a small hoot for a greeting and smiled at the two. Awaiting either the first question or comment.

Sunil was not alone for long, as he knew he wouldn’t be. He crossed his bare arms and his eyes darted over toward the place where Mazguard landed. Sunil was used to the people of Ombra lurking about in the shadows, but as a solitary creature, he did not appreciate the lack of solitude. To his greeting, Sunil said and did nothing, not even a nod of recognition. His black eyes just traveled back upward toward where Tali should be coming with the captive. His patience was wearing exponentially thinner, especially since the young monarch lacked any knowledge of what this captive was worth to him. He could be going through a lot of tedious work for nothing. As if his momentary companion had read his mind, he asked the very same question Sunil had been wondering. He scowled and let out a gruff snort. “The hell if I know, but your sister seems certain that he’s worth a moment of our time.” he answered sourly and dismissed further conversation with an icy glare.
Luckily, it didn’t take too long before the sound of wings caught Sunil’s ears, and moments later, Talia was landing before him… without company. Sunil’s eyes narrowed considerably further. “You lost him?” His voice came out incredulous, a harsh growl that rasped as though he was about to strike her for her fault. “And you let him follow you?” Rage was starting to build in Sunil’s simmering veins. His muscles bunched and coiled, preparing to claw and tear and kill. But now was not the time to allow his anger to control his impulses. There was someone who didn’t belong to Ombra flying overhead, and he could be anywhere, from the sounds of it.
Again, his eyes turned upward, and this time they caught the glint of metal. Soon afterward, another owl descended upon the small group and landed upon a rock, clad in armor. This situation was quickly spiraling into too much information that was sending Sunil into deeper and deeper rage. His hands balled into fists and his eyes fell on Talia; daggers of scorn. “And you let him come in armor?” The last of the string of rhetorical questions came out as little more than a furious growl. “Talia.” he paused and sucked in air. “What were you thinking.”
It was not a question.
Sunil’s eyes scanned the shadows around him, knowing Mazguard was hiding somewhere amongst them. “Take his armor and make sure he doesn’t escape again.” He commanded, whether or not it was Mazguard or Talia who abided the demand, he didn’t care. And for the first time, his blazing black eyes fell on the outsider, full of hate, and only with the remnants of a quiet curiosity currently doused with irritation. “Now… what to do with you…”
If it were up to the rogue Sunil, he would tear the stranger limb from limb at this very moment for causing such trouble. But monarch Sunil had more power… and better plans…

Fable didn't know rather to be shocked or laugh at his own thinking. Keeping on his guard, he half expected this situation, just not this soon. Sighing and losing his cheerful attitude to visit this place and it's "leader" turning out to be nothing more than the same threats he's already experience. "Now, as much as I was expecting this young ones, there's no reason to commit to that. I take it your Sunil of Ombra, it's not her fault, in fact this is the first time I've worn this armor since I crashed here nearly two years ago. If there's anyone to blame it's me." Pausing and letting out a small hoot that sounded more like sigh while he took off his helm placing it next to him "Hostilities aside, I am Fableryb of the kingdom of Everia, Despite how I look right now, I came out of peace."
Maze turned his attention to his owl, utter shocked that this owl was armored, it was nothing like he's ever seen. Wherever this owl was from they must be far more advanced in metal arts than here, not to mention the sheer weight of it would dive any straight into the sea. Then he said something that sparked his interest even more "Everia?, I've heard that before...." Then right after that thought almost on instinct he jumped out of hiding and rushing the owl. Only to end on the on dirt Fable's claws at his neck
"Honestly son did you not hear me?"
Talia might as well used her own powers on herself "Ma.....Maze?" flopping towards Fable for a few steps before tripping over "Fable...please" Looking at Tailia then back down to maze, he lighted his grip but kept his other talon on his tail feathers "move and you lose flight for a month" Giving talia a reassuring nod "I didn't come here to shed blood, I promised that"
Talia looked up at Sunil with a sneer "and I promised there wasn't going to be violence!" Regaining her footing and moving closer to Fable nodding her head agents Maze's nearly crying "you ass how've long have you been home" Letting the two siblings talk Fable turned his attention backed to Sunil
"What to do with me? How about try some diplomacy before I leave, and you have no one that can catch me. Ask your questions, I'll ask mine, then we'll leave it at that" Piercing right though Sunil's eyes He's seen that look before, he's long stopped fearing it.

Sunil stared at the owl hotly. Talia failed to answer any of his questions at all, and instead the stranger answered them for her. Useless… she’s useless… the lot of them. He thought angrily, and the silent words reflected on his expression. He had half a mind to tell the old owl to grab the stranger and throw him in the dungeons now, and Talia along with him. This would be the last time he would allow her to bring back a captive. To his introduction, Sunil sneered. It was not like him to be polite, even now as a Monarch. His youthful age and cocky attitude would never allow him to be diplomatic to an intruder, no matter what the situation. “I am Sunil Iredell, Monarch of this Isle.” he hissed back at him.
But when the young monarch demanded that the owl be removed from his armor, neither Mazguard or Talia reacted. In fact, Mazguard took to striking up conversation with the bird about his far-away home of Everia… wherever that was. Then it seemed the man broke out of his stupor and rushed towards the owl, but by some god-forsaken means, he ended up on his back with the owl’s claws on his neck.
And Talia served no better. When she sneered at Sunil, his blood boiled. Who were these pathetic creatures he called a part of his kingdom! Was he the only one capable of anything? It had been a long time since the man felt so disheartened and aggravated. “It is not your place to be making promises, Talia.” He replied through gritted teeth, his silky voice edged with razors.
But the old owl didn’t seem interested in causing a war. In fact, he just stood there with a mild expression on his face, unafraid in his avian armor. He made more demands of Sunil, but they fell on dead ears. His black eyes bored into the stranger relentlessly. “What questions could you have for me, old bird?” He spat. Diplomacy was a foolish request to make on Sunil Iredell. It almost always only caused him to act more childish in his fury. “I’m not interested in who you are or where you came from. I just want you out.” and the last word spilled from his thin lips in a hideous growl, animalistic and barely understandable.

A heavy sigh came from Fable "Your young Sunil, your ignorance will end you." Talia looked back at Sunil "Now's not the time to get into a rage Sunil" She spoke gently taking Fable's talons off her brother letting his scramble out of reach "If he wanted to do harm he would of already. Now is not the time to be making enemies." Maze scrambled into his human form drawing a dagger out. "Talia are your blind? He could of taken my head off and you did nothing!, Just stood there when you had the chance to take him!" enraged Maze was again caught and nearly killed. The two started arguing, completely ignoring the other two.
Sighing and tuned his back to the group as he scaled the taller rock and donned his helm again speaking directly to Sunil "If you wish me to leave I will, I understand this is your land, but you told talia to bring me, so here I am. I am willing to answer your questions if you answer a few of mine." Gliding back down to his and looking up at the monarch "I've already promised her training, that's out of the situation. However that's unlikely that was the only thing you wanted out of me."

Sunil was past the point of no return. The veins stood out on his pallid arms and along his neck, and his black eyes burned like coals into the trio that stood in front of him. Talia spoke up again, and the Monarch did nothing but flash his dangerous eyes over her, wordless and uninviting. She had tried so hard to please him before, determined to bring him back useful news and make him happy, but in a matter of moments, she had torn any ounce of respect he had held fro her to shreds. Sunil was not an individual who came to trust others easily, and once what trust he did have was broken, it was nearly impossible to gain it back.
To Sunil’s irritated resignation, the two siblings began their tedious arguing again, and he had no other choice but to look at this newcomer again. The old owl seemed to think quite highly of himself, clad in his armor. The way he spoke only made Sunil despise him more. He crossed his arms tight over his chest and rolled his head from side to side to make a sad attempt in relaxing the muscles in his shoulders. Deep breath in. Deep breath out. Apparently, the old man hadn’t heard him clearly the first time. “I don’t want anything from you, as it is. Talia merely had a curiosity for that… book of yours.” Sunil glared. “What questions could you have for me?” he repeated his question from before, his usual musical voice now a low and steady growl.

Taking flight and nearly pressing his helm against Sunil, Fable knew he had to leave. "No questions, Its very clear you don't want me here anymore" He swooped back and picked up his book before taking off again "Just be wise and calm Sunil, your hermit kingdom here is drawing worry from other kingdoms." He flew off after that statement. A thousand thoughts ran though his head. I'll come again, he's in a rage for some reason, winter I'll return, maybe then I can talk to him civilly.
Talia finally pushed her brother back noticing Fable left, "great, Maze your moron, he was our one chance of getting a military leader! Sunil, mind me but what where thinking, you should of left maze out of this. Yes I'm happy to see him but at the cost of my work for you?" Maze sheathed his blade and walked over and sat on a rock, "Really Talia, what gotten into you? You should of gutted him when Sunil ordered it!" Talia sighed and shook her head "I've sworn an oath no to spill blood unless absolutely necessary."
Shocked, Maze covered his face "Now you disowned your own family? Get out of my sight." Talia did, Shifting and flying off back to her hidden home.
"Well, that went well didn't it?" Maze said sarcastically "I've missed much more than you've let on Sunil, I'll meet you at your tower."
